Welcome to December 21, 2012!
May 12th, 2007Thanks for coming,
I’m not a writer, I’m just a person who stumbled across a website talking about how some catastrophic events are supposed to unfold on December 21, 2012. It was kind of interesting, but there was no place for anyone to have a conversation about it. To ask for more information, to lend support or to tell them they were a little off balance. I’m not sure which category I fall into yet, I haven’t learned enough. That’s why I created this blog.
I’m going to start searching the net for reference material regarding this magical date when the calender stops. I’ll post my views on what I find here. I surely won’t post everyday, as I need to continue working, at least until December 20, 2012.
For those of you that don’t know, on December 21, 2012, the Mayan long calender comes to and end. It runs for only 5000 years. Some think this means the world will come to and end as well. There is research to suggest that the Mayans simply liked to have a big party every 5000 years and then start over. Apparently, the calender was also designed to end on the winter solstice As the solstice was a major event for the Mayans, imagine the celebration if not only was it solstice, but a 5000 year cycle had just ended. A party in the planning for 5000 years.
To others, the fact that the calender ends and it’s solstice; means big trouble. Catastrophic events are often talked about, although I don’t know exactly which events just yet. I’ve seen references to fire, volcanoes, comets and a few other things that we can talk about another day.
All this to get to the title of my post. Welcome to my blog, not the date. May we all see December 22, 2012.
Have a special day.
